Extremity AdjustingWe don't just treat neck and low back pain. When we assess a person's health we look at the nervous system, specifically the spinal cord and spinal nerves. When there is no interference with those nerves the body is functioning and healing properly. But we don't just look at the nerves of the spine. There are also many nerves that control all of the extremities in the body. We perform adjustments to many extremities as well.
The Doctors have had training in extremity adjusting. We assess the alignment of many different bones in the foot, and then make the proper adjustments to provide the proper stabilization. We also assess the knees and hips. There are adjustments that help with knee pain and hip pain. However, when we adjust your extremities, it is also essential to get your spine adjusted, because many of the nerves in the low back control the legs, knees and feet.
Have you tried everything for carpal tunnel and do not want surgery, or do you simple have wrist, elbow or shoulder pain. Once again we can help. We also assess the proper alignment of the carpal bones of the wrist, the radius and ulna of your forearm, and the scapula, A/C joint and humerous of your shoulder joint. There are specific adjustments to regain motion and help relieve pain in all those joints. The doctors have been trained in those specific adjustments. It is still very important to not only adjust those extremities but also assess the vertebra of the spine. The spinal nerves that start in your neck also control all muscles and functions in your shoulders, arms, elbows, wrist, and hands. All of the extremity adjustments are non-invasive and painless, and can be done at the same time as your regular adjustment.
Another area that we assess is jaw pain or Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ). There are subtle adjustments the doctors can make to your jaw to help with TMJ.
